Welcome to the ninth edition of bruce e-zine. It is the Spring equinox and the days are growing as the nights diminish. If only there were light in the hearts of our "leaders" it would be a totally wonderful time indeed. Hopefully, our people will awaken from their stupor and see what is going on and act in their own interests for a change. Wouldn't that be special?

This time is a turning point for all of us, whether we like it or not. Do we work to preserve the very soul of who we are, protecting our remarkable Constitution and preserving our generous nature, or do we sit dumbly by while those who would enforce yet another fundamentalist bind on our very lives continue placating the somnolescent with the continuing "Big Lies?" This issue's free photograph can be real, or a distortion of the reality. Each of us must choose. I hope we do and that we choose wisely and with kindness for each other.
